Bailiwick Botanicals - St Peter Port, Guernsey Bailiwick Botanicals operates specialist retail stores across the Channel Islands offering CBD wellness products, dry-herb vaporisers, glassware, and accessories for medical cannabis patients. We are seeking Store Associates to work at our St Peter Port location. This is an opportunity to work within one of the most exciting emerging sectors in retail. Successful candidates will combine strong commercial awareness with excellent customer service, helping to create a welcoming environment where customers feel confident receiving responsible product guidance. Full-time & Zero-Hour Positions Job Description & Main Responsibilities - Provide excellent customer service and responding to customer enquiries when required - Assist both new and returning customers by providing knowledgeable advice on devices, products, and accessories - Support customers on the shop floor by answering questions and recommending appropriate products - Operate the till efficiently, processing sales, returns, and exchanges while maintaining a positive customer experience - Identify opportunities to up-sell products where appropriate to improve the overall customer experience - Assist customers with minor loyalty account issues and basic account enquiries - Assist with stock transfers, preparing products for sale, tagging items, and organising stock on shelves - Assist with stocktakes and keeping shelves properly stocked at all times - Report operational issues or customer feedback to Management - Support Management in identifying solutions to operational or customer service issues - Contribute to sales initiatives and techniques designed to improve customer satisfaction and store performance - Maintain store cleanliness, product shelving, and organisation in accordance with Retail Manager standards - Opening and closing of the store Skills & Qualifications - Handling and counting money - Interacting with touchscreen devices, such as iPads. - Customer orientated with a demonstrable ability to deliver exceptional customer service - Previous experience within a retail and/or customer service environment preferred - Enthusiastic, driven and motivated - Strong communication skills Availability - Standard working hours 10am to 6pm, 3 to 5 days a week including some Saturdays - Available to work early mornings and late nights as required for special periods such as Christmas or summer events - Available to work additional hours when workload dictates - Potentially assist with various local events if available and when they occur.
