Install, test, commission, demonstrate, and maintain JT voice and data products, ensuring quality, security, and timely delivery.
Analyse customer data networks and recommend or implement system improvements or modifications.
Attend client meetings to scope and validate business requirements and provide pre‑sales technical advice, consultancy, and solution design.
Develop clear written proposals outlining solution options, hardware/circuit requirements, and resource needs.
Agree project deliverables and milestones and manage customer projects where appropriate, overseeing installation and implementation within agreed timescales.
Liaise with JT departments, suppliers, and external trades to coordinate wiring, equipment provisioning, and smooth project delivery.
Test completed solutions, gain customer sign‑off, and ensure effective handover to service‑facing teams with supporting technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance to colleagues, customers, suppliers, and operators, and support New Product Integration by working with suppliers to understand emerging technologies.
Clear work orders and faults promptly to enable timely billing and maintain service performance
Hold or be willing to gain relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP pathways, Mitel, Microsoft equivalents) and maintain required manufacturer accreditations.
Build and maintain specialist technical knowledge through exams, vendor accreditation, and experience, including voice/data cabling infrastructures and network engineering.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical specialists to senior leaders.
Possess numerical skills sufficient to technically size and assess network capacity requirements.
Understand regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to telecommunications and financial services across different jurisdictions outline the essential skills and experience we are seeking for this role.
