Care Assistant

The Position: We are looking for a full time Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerland House Nursing Home. The right person will carry out a range of duties to ensure high quality care is provided to our Residents. Responsibilities: Carry out a range of duties in order to provide high quality care to residents in our Nursing Home. Assist residents with activities of daily life, such as washing, dressing, eating and mobility. Act as an advocate to residents in your care and always act in their best interests. Experience: Previous work in a Care or Nursing environment is desirable and preferable, but we will accept applications from those with no experience. Skills & Qualifications: A mature outlook, with work/life experience Ability to work as a Team, but also able to undertake tasks on your own. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Willingness to learn and to undertake mandatory in-house training. Benefits: We offer a competitive pay & conditions package.
