Connect to your Industry As an Assistant Manager Service Designer, you will be joining the UK Digital Services team within our Enabling Functions. Demonstrate ability to apply a range of design skillsets (research, ideation, prototyping) at the level of end-to-end service and experience. Clearly articulate how user experience is supported by people, process and technology. Support research and discovery activities, contributing to user-centred design processes. Assist in mapping and blueprinting services, developing personas, journey maps and service blueprints. Contribute creatively by suggesting approaches and ideas during ideation sessions. Participate in creating low-fidelity prototypes to test service concepts across digital and non-digital touchpoints. Gather and analyse operational and user data to inform design decisions. Support the testing of service concepts and collection of user feedback. Strong planning, organisation and documentation skills. Innovation and Emerging Technology Bring a forward-thinking and experimental mindset to the team, actively seeking out and testing emerging technologies and tools to enhance our service design and delivery. Demonstrate a passion for innovation, continuously scanning the external landscape for new trends, best practices, and industry advancements, and translating these insights into actionable ideas for the firm. Help ensure our work is user-centred, representing the human voice in conversations about technology and experience. Participate in planning and running workshops (e.g., research playbacks, user journey mapping, ideation sessions) with business stakeholders, employees and colleagues. Communicate research findings and design concepts accurately and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Sense-making and Storytelling Assist in synthesising research into meaningful insights, contributing to storytelling artefacts such as journey maps and personas. Support the creation of client-ready presentations and proposals. Professional Development Actively build professional relationships with colleagues and clients to broaden your knowledge base within design. Contribute to the wider Digital Services team by participating in community events and activities outside of project work.
