Saturday Shop Assistant

Contree Mansell Stores is a long established and busy convenience store located in central St Peter Port. It is part of a small group of convenience stores owned by Bailiwick Retail Limited. We are looking to recruit a new part time staff member to work each Saturday afternoon from 1pm to 6pm. We offer set shifts where staff typically get to work the same shift day and time each week. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit to apply. We would be happy to hear from those with or without experience as full training can be provided. Our pay scale begins at £13 per hour whilst on probation and will rise to £13.50 once the probationary period is passed. Further pay rises are certainly possible and we also offer ad-hoc bonuses - both of which are based on attendance, quality of work and length of time working for us. Bank holidays are paid at £119.50 per hour while on probation and £20.25 once probation is passed. We are also part of the YIP pension scheme in which part time employee can also be enrolled on a voluntary basis.
