Key responsibilities and accountabilities: A smart appearance is essential. Important to be a good team player. Making reservations and allocating rooms using the Reslynx hotel system, working alongside our tour operator and individual clients. Confirming reservations using email, fax and the postal system. Checking guests in and out of the hotel. Follow the Health & Safety specifications of the hotel. Be responsible for the guest's daily needs and requirements. Producing pro-forma invoices and taking cash, credit card and cheque payments. Cashing up the reception daily take. Dealing with the initial contact regarding functions and conference bookings. Taking table bookings for the Restaurants Producing and updating daily and function menus. Excellent communication skills, a calm temperament and a flexible approach are vital.
