The OpportunityWe are seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join our growing Audit team in the Crown Dependencies. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:Be the main point of contact for your portfolio of clients, developing excellent knowledge of their operations and the external/internal market factors that affect them.Build deep, meaningful client relationships.Ensure the timely delivery of engagements through effective planning and project management, escalating concerns early.Effectively utilise resources to deliver excellent service and drive efficiency.Coach, mentor and develop peers and junior team members.Develop and maintain strong working relationships across KPMG in the Crown Dependencies and the wider KPMG network.Proactively seek quality feedback to support your professional development and encourage others to do the same.RequirementsWe are looking to engage with candidates who have:Time and exam‑qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).At least 3 years’ experience in an external financial statements audit role.Experience leading audits from planning through to completion.Financial Services audit experience (including Asset Management) is an advantage, but not essential.Up‑to‑date technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards including IFRS and/or UK GAAP.Strong English communication skills (spoken, listening and written).Strong IT literacy, including Excel and Word.Strong project management capabilities including decision‑making, critical thinking, analytical skills, time management, prioritisation and organisation.Demonstrable experience coaching junior team members and peers.
