This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years' experience to develop within a structured finance team. The role provides exposure to management accounting and day-to-day finance operations. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Preparing and issuing invoices based on information provided by internal teams. Maintaining accounts receivable ledgers and processing receipts. Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts. Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments. Performing daily bank reconciliations. Supporting budgeting processes and financial reporting activities. Liaising with internal teams including HR, Payroll and operations. Acting as a point of contact for finance-related queries. Supporting compliance processes and maintaining accurate records. Assisting with ad hoc reporting and finance projects. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years' experience within a finance function and be part-qualified or working towards a relevant qualification such as AAT, ACA or CIMA, or have equivalent experience. They will demonstrate experience in preparing accounts up to trial balance, including posting accruals and prepayments, along with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential, alongside strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach. Experience with accounting systems such as Sage would be advantageous.
