This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of insurance products within a customer-focused environment. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Advising clients on suitable insurance products based on their needs. Managing and developing personal and commercial insurance portfolios. Negotiating with underwriters and insurers to secure appropriate cover and terms. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry partners. Identifying and developing new business opportunities. Reviewing risks and ensuring solutions meet both client and business objectives. Ensuring accurate reporting of sales and customer service activities. Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and market awareness. Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required. Contributing to business improvement initiatives and projects. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have experience within a customer-facing or sales environment and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will be professional, approachable and confident in building relationships with clients and stakeholders. A basic insurance qualification such as CII (or willingness to work towards one) is required, along with a proactive and results-driven approach. Experience within commercial insurance would be advantageous, and the successful individual will be motivated to develop their career within the insurance sector.
