Senior Compliance Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to support and deputise for the Head of Compliance. The role focuses on team leadership, regulatory compliance and driving a strong compliance culture. This is an exciting role for an experienced compliance professional to take on leadership responsibilities within a global organisation! Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Supporting and deputising for the Head of Compliance. Managing and leading the Compliance team, including workload allocation and development. Overseeing compliance monitoring programmes and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Drafting and updating policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes. Producing management information and compliance reporting for senior stakeholders. Attending internal committees and supporting governance structures. Acting as MLRO and MLCO where required. Providing compliance advice and guidance across the business. Promoting a strong compliance culture and best practice standards. Ensuring knowledge of regulatory developments is maintained and shared. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years' experience within a compliance or technical role, supported by a relevant professional qualification at diploma level. They will demonstrate strong leadership capability and experience managing teams, alongside excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. A strong technical understanding of compliance legislation and regulatory frameworks is essential, along with the ability to produce clear management information and provide effective guidance. The successful individual will be confident, proactive and capable of operating within a fast-paced and complex environment.
