This role combines team leadership with hands-on client administration. A strong emphasis is placed on organisation, leadership and compliance. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Managing a defined portfolio of trust and corporate clients, ensuring high service standards. Organising and overseeing the team's daily workload and delegating tasks effectively. Reviewing client work, including correspondence, documentation and accounts where required. Monitoring team performance and supporting the achievement of KPIs and deadlines. Supporting staff development through training, coaching and performance feedback. Assisting with appraisals and objective setting for team members. Ensuring compliance with regulatory, AML/CFT and corporate governance requirements. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and databases. Acting as an authorised signatory where applicable. Liaising with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders. Supporting team planning and ensuring continuity of service during absences. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years' experience within trust and company administration and be working towards or have nearly completed a relevant professional qualification such as STEP, ACCA or equivalent. They will demonstrate strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage workloads and support a team effectively. A solid understanding of regulatory requirements, corporate governance and fiduciary practices is essential, along with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach. The successful individual will be confident, collaborative and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
