The Global Data Team of Specsavers is at the core of delivering organisation wide insights to help accelerate robust decision making, drive consistency and enable self-service for the business.
The Data Developer works as part of the Global Data team to convert business requirements into business solutions. You will migrate & transform data, creating views that can be utilised across the organisation. You will facilitate the use of data within the data team as well as allowing the benefits of data to be liberated across the organisation and within our digital transformation.
Experience
xperience in some of the following would be beneficail, although full training will be provided:
* Azure Data Lake
* Azure Data Factory
* Azure Databricks (inc. SQL and Python)
* Azure SQL Server
* Azure DevOps/Git
To be successful, you’ll need good technical ability and understanding of how databases work, as well as the use of data development software (ETL packages) and programming languages (usually SQL and Python) to develop tools to extract, transform and load data, as well as to document the creation of these tools.
