The Position
Applicants will have substantial retail experience, will adapt to a fast paced environment, and have excellent communication skills. The role will report to the Sales Manager the candidate will receive a competitive salary with a sales performance bonus scheme.
Responsibilities
Liaising with and forging strong working relationships with the relevant stakeholders, such as staff, customers, and suppliers.
Opening and closing procedures of the store.
Operating showroom till and cash handling.
Assisting with the maintenance of the showroom including assembling furniture and ensuring the showroom is clean and tidy at all times.
Maintaining high levels of customer service at all times.
Ensuring product knowledge is current and up to date.
Meeting sales targets.
Processing and monitoring of customer orders.
Assisting with receiving incoming deliveries and stock control.
Coordinating customer deliveries.
Assisting with the administration of the company’s social media accounts.
Providing ad-hoc administrative support as required.
Participating in various ad hoc projects and duties as may be delegated from time to time
Experience
Good academic background
Previous retail experience, preferably in a related sector
Knowledge of modern furniture equipment and related products
Proven customer service and sales skills.
Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft or equivalent packages.

Ability to manage own workload efficiently and effectively.
Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi task, plan and prioritise tasks appropriately.
