An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 senior staff nurse position in the Mignot Hospital (MMH) in Alderney.
The Mignot Memorial Hospital is based in Alderney in the Channel Islands which comprises of 8 acute care beds, 14 elderley care, and minor injuries room. The Hospital provides 'community style' care for residents of Alderney.
MMH is seeking a Band 6 Staff Nurse to join their team with post registration experience. The expectation is that the band 6 Staff Nurse appointed would be expected, after training, to participate in the supervision and professional development of qualified and unqualified nursing staff. If you have excellent clincial skills, effective leadership and motivational skills and can work both independently and as part of a team we would like to hear from you.

Should the successful applicant not meet the requirements sufficiently he/she may be appointed at a lower grade than stated. The successful applicant would then have the opportunity to progress to the grade advertised once the necessary skills and knowledge have been developed and they have demonstrated the ability to undertake the duties at the higher level.
