Underwriter

Our client, a Channel Island provider of bespoke and customer-driven insurance solutions, is seeking an experienced Underwriter/Insurance professional to join their Commercial team. Duties will include underwriting cases within agreed processes and risk appetite, achieving business development and retention targets and supporting colleagues in the wider team as required. Applicants should ideally have underwriting/industry experience, hold CII qualifications and have experience of working with insurance brokers across a range of insurance products. In addition, they should be self-motivated, organised, be able to work under own initiative to deadlines and committed to providing excellent customer service with close attention to detail and accuracy.
