Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

An exciting and rare opportunity to join a team of Speech and Language Therapists to provide a multi-agency approach to identification and support to young people with speech, language and communication needs. Duties will include but are not limited to assessing and then develop the therapy treatment for children with speech, language or communication difficulties; to manage and prioritise your own case load independently; advise others the management and care of these children; provide staff training and demonstrate empathy with patients, carers and families. Candidates should hold at least a SLT qualification at degree level with the RCSLT and a valid HCPC registration and hold evidence of the completion of NQP core capabilities. Ideally, candidates will also hold a post-graduate qualification in a professional field and a foundation signalong certificate or above.
