Overview of the Role A respected and collaborative financial services provider is seeking a methodical and detail-oriented individual to join its Guernsey-based team as a Compliance & Operations Administrator. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience in compliance and operational procedures within a fiduciary and pension services environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform detailed customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks for a range of clients including individuals, companies, trusts, and other structures. • Review documentation to ensure adherence to Guernsey AML/CFT regulations and internal policies. • Maintain accurate CDD records within internal systems and escalate high-risk issues as needed. • Support the Compliance Officer, MLRO, and MLCO with reporting, project work, and regulatory list maintenance. • Assist with client onboarding and closure processes. • Manage document retention and destruction procedures in line with policy. • Provide occasional reception and office support cover. What You’ll Bring • At least 1 year’s experience in a CDD, compliance, or onboarding role within financial or fiduciary services. • A keen interest in compliance and a willingness to work towards a relevant professional qualification (such as ICA). • High attention to detail and a systematic, process-driven approach. • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain regulatory requirements. • IT proficiency, with experience using document and data management systems—Laserfiche and 5-Series knowledge would be advantageous.
