A well-established Guernsey-based trust company, part of a growing international group, is seeking an experienced Trust Officer or Administrator to join their team. They provide a wide range of private wealth services including family office, trusts, employee benefit trusts, foundations, company management, and pension administration services for both individuals and companies. The role will involve managing a portfolio of trust and company clients, liaising with beneficiaries, professional advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth administration, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities • Administer a portfolio of trust and company structures, including their creation and termination. • Prepare trust deeds, minutes, resolutions, reports, and other documentation. • Ensure timely asset distributions and accurate record keeping. • Liaise with clients and advisors to provide tailored solutions. • Maintain compliance with Guernsey fiduciary and tax regulations. • Conduct AML and CDD checks for new and existing clients. • Monitor and manage potential risks within the portfolio. Experience & Qualifications • Minimum of A-levels or equivalent; a degree in law, business, or finance is advantageous. • Working towards or holding ICSA, STEP, or equivalent qualifications preferred. • 2–3 years’ experience in trust and company administration for Administrator level; 3–5 years for Officer level. • Solid understanding of local and international trust and pension regulations. • Experience in pension scheme management (defined contribution) is desirable.
