Senior Finance Operations Manager, Jersey (On-site)

Join a prestigious international law firm as a Senior Finance Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, manage, and develop a team of finance administrators, providing guidance and ensuring optimal allocation of workloads. • Oversee daily financial operations including billing, credit control, cashiering, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and client payments. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end finance processes and client accounting procedures. • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including local law society regulations and AML standards. • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures. • Manage banking relationships, online platforms, and account mandates. • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including fee earners, partners, and departments to address financial inquiries and enhance operational effectiveness. • Facilitate financial audits and investigations. What You Need: • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA). • Strong leadership and people management experience. • Previous senior-level finance operations experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Aderant practice management system advantageous. • Proven track record in process improvement and implementation of financial controls.
