An independent provider of private wealth, corporate administration, and yacht services is seeking an experienced Senior Crew Services Officer to join their Yacht Services team in Guernsey. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment supporting global clients and delivering tailored solutions for the management of private and commercial yachts. About the Role The Senior Crew Services Officer will act as the primary day-to-day contact for crew employment and payroll matters across an allocated portfolio of clients and yachts. You will also serve as a point of escalation within the Crew Team, providing support and guidance to colleagues. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the full contract and payroll process from onboarding to termination. • Administering and processing payroll, including social security obligations and payment processing. • Onboarding new clients, yachts, and crew, ensuring compliance with procedures and documentation requirements. • Liaising regularly with yacht owners, captains, and crew, maintaining strong working relationships. • Ensuring crew certifications, manning documents, and insurances are accurate, valid, and compliant with MLC and flag state requirements. • Monitoring expiry dates for yacht and crew certificates and escalating concerns where necessary. • Supporting with crew recruitment, travel arrangements, and leave recording where required. • Providing training and guidance to the wider Crew Team and contributing to monthly management meetings. What You’ll Need • Educated to A-Level standard or above. • At least 5 years’ experience in Crew Management (essential). • Yachting industry experience is desirable but not mandatory. • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with strict deadlines. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion in handling client matters.
