A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Company Secretary Officer to provide company secretarial services to Relationship Management teams supporting a diverse portfolio of client companies. Responsibilities • Preparing and submitting Guernsey Registry filings, including incorporations, Annual Validations, Audit Waivers, and AGM monitoring. • Maintaining statutory records, company registers, and registered office boards. • Updating the core company database with company secretarial information. • Assisting with Beneficial Ownership Register filings and supporting Relationship Managers with regulatory compliance. • Handling queries related to incorporations, liquidations, and other company-related activities across multiple jurisdictions. • Overseeing economic substance reporting, including Guernsey tax returns and international notifications. • Ensuring timely completion of BVI Annual Financial returns. • Monitoring developments in Company Law and regulatory requirements and keeping teams informed. • Contributing to company secretarial projects and cross-team initiatives. • Managing time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Qualifications and Skills • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a financial services Company Secretarial position or exposure to company secretarial work. • ICSA or STEP qualification (or working towards). • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. • Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive with a strong client-service focus. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to share knowledge with colleagues. • Professional approach when dealing with both internal stakeholders and external parties.
