Facilities Technical Engineer, Guernsey | Full time | Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional Facilities team ensuring the smooth operation of critical infrastructure, including data centres, across a dynamic and fast-paced estate. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: • Performing daily walkarounds of data centre and critical environments, escalating issues via internal systems. • Maintaining planned preventative maintenance schedules for essential power and cooling systems. • Isolating fire suppression and alarm systems as required for works, and monitoring these systems when deactivated. • Managing permit-to-work processes and contractor access in secure areas. • Supporting general M&E maintenance and coordinating with subcontractors as needed. • Logging and tracking tasks via Zendesk, including routine fire alarm testing and generator checks. • Reporting monthly power usage and maintaining site compliance records.
