A well-established offshore law firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate to join its Financial Services Law practice in Jersey. The team advises an impressive portfolio of international clients on corporate and commercial law, investment funds, banking, and regulatory matters. The Role This position offers a varied and dynamic workload. The successful candidate will support partners and senior associates across a wide range of financial services matters, contributing to high-quality client service and the continued growth of the practice. Key Responsibilities • Supporting senior team members across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters • Advising on financial services regulation and related issues • Conducting legal research and analysis • Drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence • Preparing reports and contributing to the firm’s know-how • Managing system-based filing and transaction bibles • Assisting with business development initiatives and identifying cross-selling opportunities • Ensuring accurate time recording, billing management, and meeting utilisation targets • Participating in seminars, presentations, and other non-chargeable knowledge-sharing activity • Following all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements About You • 1–3 years’ PQE with a Jersey, UK, or Commonwealth qualification • Strong background in corporate law, with a solid understanding of financial services legislation • Interest in, or willingness to learn, Jersey offshore law • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines • High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of using initiative • Enjoys working collaboratively within a busy team • Motivated to contribute to business development and client relationship growth Benefits of the Role • Opportunity to work with a respected offshore firm with a long-standing history • Exposure to high-quality, cross-border financial services work • Supportive team environment with a commitment to professional development • Strong career progression potential within a collaborative and well-regarded practice
