Knowledge Services Assistant – Knowledge Management, Jersey

A highly regarded offshore law firm is seeking a motivated individual to support its global Knowledge Management function. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career who is keen to develop within legal operations and gain exposure across a wide range of knowledge services. About the Role Working as part of a small, closely knit team, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining and developing internal knowledge systems used across the firm’s international offices. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to both operational and technology-driven projects, including potential involvement in AI initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining precedent and know-how databases, supporting document automation, assisting with legal research, providing current awareness updates, curating content for knowledge platforms, helping onboard new starters, and supporting thought-leadership activity. The role is full time and office-based in Jersey. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level—ideally in law or a related subject—and have some exposure to professional environments, preferably a law firm. Strong administrative ability, excellent communication skills and a methodical approach are essential. You will need to be a quick learner who is adaptable, organised and confident using technology, with a genuine interest in legal operations and emerging tools such as AI. A friendly, professional manner and the ability to work well within a team are also important.
