A new and exciting role that provides expert health, safety, and environmental support across Guernsey Energy’s operations, ensuring the network and facilities meet the highest safety standards. The position involves advising teams, monitoring risk assessments, supporting process safety activities, conducting audits, managing incident reporting, and tracking corrective actions. The postholder will also assist with safety case requirements, COMAH inspections, and ongoing compliance with legislation and industry standards. Regular reporting, contributing to HS&E communications, and working across the Channel Islands are key parts of the role. Candidates should be strong communicators, able to build effective relationships, and hold a NEBOSH Diploma or similar qualification, with competency in process safety. Chartered or Incorporated status is required, and experience in gas, utilities, or hazardous industries is desirable. All team members are expected to follow established health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
