The Real Estate team is undergoing significant transformational change as we scale the business to meet ambitious growth targets. Data, Technology and AI are central to enabling this evolution. We are seeking a senior data specialist who can apply their experience and technical expertise to guide the team through this journey and help embed a data-driven culture across Real Estate.

Role:

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on advanced technical expertise and independent delivery. The role does not include people management responsibilities.

Core Purpose:

Provide technical, analytical and strategic insight to support the development of robust data practices, streamlined processes, and intelligent automation within the Real Estate team.

The ideal candidates will have hands on experience with:

• Data: Power BI (Fabric), SQL. Data bricks, Data Factory.
• Tech: Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• AI: GPT bases AI agent (Copilot studios, Chat GPT AI agents etc).

Key responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data processes that extract, transform, and visualise information using Power BI/Fabric, Dataflows, Databricks and Data Factory.

• Develop a deep understanding of the Real Estate business, using this knowledge to identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and improved decision-making.

• Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing transparent communication and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.

• Own the report lifecycle, including:

• Applying change control and documentation standards

• Monitoring and resolving report failures

• Reviewing usage to ensure reports remain relevant and valuable

• Comfortable owning solutions with minimal oversight, including scoping, technical design, development, testing and deployment

• Capture non-strategic data elements manually where required, while proactively identifying long-term strategic solutions with internal technology teams.

• Collaborate closely with the Lending Data team to source and integrate data from the One Data Platform (ODP) and shared lending data infrastructure.

• Identify data sources not yet in ODP, working with the lending team to bring them into the strategic data ecosystem.

• Work with Data Governance to define and maintain critical data elements for the Real Estate business, ensuring accurate recording, monitoring and adherence to data-quality standards.

Core Skills & Knowledge :

Technical knowledge

• SQL: Proficient in SQL and other query languages used for data extraction and manipulation.
• Power BI / Fabric: Strong proficiency in developing data models, reports, dashboards and end-to-end Fabric solutions.
• Power Platform: Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Azure Data Tools: Practical experience with Databricks, Data Factory and related cloud data engineering components. Good to have
• Microsoft Excel: Excellent working knowledge, including advanced functions and data analysis techniques.

• Analytical Insight: Exceptionally numerate with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and clearly articulate insights that drive business action.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Able to quickly distil stakeholder questions into clear analytical requirements and deliver timely, actionable outputs in an accessible format.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt style and messaging for different audiences and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Strong ability to self-manage research, design solutions, prioritise work, and deliver projects efficiently and independently.
• Adaptability: Willingness and ability to rapidly learn new tools, technologies and methodologies.
• Data Storytelling & Visualisation: Ability to design engaging, interactive dashboards and outputs that translate data into meaningful stories.
