Procurement Lead

An opportunity has become available for a dynamic Procurement Lead to join the finance team of a local bank. This role is part time at 3 days per week with the potential to grow into a full time role. This is an essential role and needs a candidate with strong relationship management skills to manage supplier and internal stakeholder relationships. Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing procurement strategies and overseeing all sourcing capabilities. Best practice and cost efficiency will be at the forefront of your mind as you navigate through this role, as well as alignment with the company's sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in a similar role and be educated to degree or similar level. Communication and relationship building skills are essential along with a confidence and knowledge of drafting and understanding contractual terms. If the candidate also had previous experience in an accounts payable role this would be looked on favourably.
