Static Data Analyst

Description of role and key responsibilities : The Data Operations Analyst will play a key role in the creation, review, maintenance, and remediation of static/reference data across client and trading domains. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining high-quality data standards Specific areas of responsibility include : · Setting up Security details/loading for Bonds & Equities · Processing ISIN Amendments · Creating Collateral Accounts · Creating and maintaining Legal Entities · Cross referencing data across downstream systems · Updating all relevant data attributes, including LEI and Direct Debit limits. · Collaborating with subject matter experts across business, technology, and operations to resolve data quality issues. · Ensuring data accuracy and completeness across multiple data sources. · Managing reference data queries and performing root cause analysis, ensuring remediation at source. · Reviewing and helping to re-design processes to enhance operational efficiency. Executing legacy data clean‑up initiatives in a structured and controlled manner. Core skills and knowledge: · Understanding of UK Companies House and UK/overseas company registrations. · Understanding of risk, as well as knowledge of business processes, systems and reporting requirements. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). · Solid understanding of client and transaction reference data. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data capture. · Skilled in managing and manipulating complex datasets with accuracy and efficiency. · Professional, service‑oriented approach to stakeholder interaction. · Bloomberg experience. · Regulatory knowledge relevant to the role (mandatory).
