Temporary Accountant – Internal Finance, Guernsey

Our client, a respected professional services firm, requires temporary support within their Internal Finance team due to team absence. This contract is expected to last around 4–4.5 months, ideally starting mid-February. The Role This is a hands-on accounting role with a strong focus on internal financial reporting. It is not a generic accounts administration position and requires someone who can step in quickly and support key reporting activities. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with internal and consolidated financial reporting • Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes • Posting accruals and prepayments • Assisting with cash flow management, debt collection and spend analysis • Preparing UK GAAP consolidated financial statements and audit working papers About You • Experience in internal financial reporting • Strong technical accounting skills • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word • Able to work accurately to deadlines and manage workload independently
