An established financial services firm is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its office in St Peter Port.
The key responsibility of the Financial Accountant is to ensure that financial books and records are maintained and reported in a timely, accurate, and fully compliant manner. Other responsibilities include liaising with auditors and providing required documentation, managing the issuance of revenue invoices, and assisting with the preparation of quarterly statistical returns for submission to the GFSC and JFSC.
The role may require occasional travel to Jersey and the UK to visit offices, typically on a quarterly or half-yearly basis.
The ideal candidate will have recently obtained, or be working towards, an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification. They will be results-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a high level of self-motivation.
