Working under the guidance of a senior team member, the successful candidate will deliver comprehensive support for AML services to clients, including the management of proposals, agreements, compliance reporting, invoicing, and AML training. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and staying up to date with AML/CFT regulations in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. Prepare and issue client proposals and fee quotes to prospective clients, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in all communications.
Coordinate the drafting, review, and execution of AML Services agreements.
Set up and maintain all AML Services matters in Viewpoint, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
Collaborate with fund administrators to schedule and conduct periodic audits or testing, including sampling and reviewing investor KYC documentation maintained by the fund administrator.
Manage the invoicing process, including monitoring payments, implementing early intervention for overdue accounts, and following up on aged debt.
Liaise with internal finance and other relevant stakeholders to resolve billing issues efficiently.
Support the preparation and delivery of periodic reports to clients.
Organize and facilitate AML training for clients as required.
Maintain client records, ensuring files are complete, current, and compliant with internal policies and procedures
Support team projects and undertake general administrative tasks to facilitate smooth departmental operations.
Remain up-to-date with current legislation and the evolving regulatory landscape relating to operations and compliance for client funds.
Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Ideally 1–2 years of experience in compliance, risk, or operations within a law firm, fund administrator, or investment manager; motivated fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Solid understanding of Cayman Islands AML laws and regulatory requirements, especially as they pertain to investment funds.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
Progress towards ICA or ACAMS qualifications is an advantage.
Familiarity with Viewpoint is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
