Our client is a director-led private client trust firm established in Guernsey, offering specialist trust and private wealth services and a growing focus on digital assets. Role This is a permanent role within the digital assets team. The role-holder will provide day-to-day administration and excellent client service to a defined portfolio, dealing confidently with complex client and internal matters and supporting the manager with team responsibilities as required. Key responsibilities • Assist the manager with reviews of beneficial owner filings and statutory document updates, noting jurisdictional differences. • Ensure accounts are reviewed and approved within internal and external timeframes; liaise with the accounting team. • Monitor team banking relationships, review bank account opening documentation, mandates and access arrangements. • Anticipate clients’ future needs; manage and review team correspondence and organise client/intermediary meetings. • Support the completion of investment policy statements and liaise with the Investment Review Committee as required. • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements for legal entities and trusts and that all required filings are met. • Assist the manager to ensure policies and procedures are followed, enhance the work review process and identify training needs. • Liaise with the tax team on tax implications for client groups and ensure advice is shared with the team. • Review timesheets, utilisation and team financial targets; monitor projects and proactively chase debtors. • Assist with preparation of information for quarterly board meetings and assume authorised signatory responsibilities where appropriate. Person specification • Sound technical knowledge of the trust arena, with an understanding of tax, registry requirements and corporate governance. • Successful attainment of STEP or CGI (or equivalent) and meeting CPD requirements. • Very good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships. • High attention to detail and accuracy in producing and reviewing documentation of moderate complexity. • Demonstrated critical analysis skills and the ability to identify appropriate commercial solutions. • Ability to work to deadlines and project plans with minimal direction. • Management skills that demonstrate the ability to inspire and develop others, together with integrity, discretion and tact.
