An independent governance and company secretarial services provider is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join its growing team. This is a client-facing role responsible for managing a portfolio of entities, supporting boards, overseeing governance projects, and mentoring team members. Key responsibilities ⭐ Act as key point of contact for a portfolio of corporate clients ⭐ Attend board and general meetings; prepare/review minutes and related documentation ⭐ Provide pragmatic governance and regulatory advice to boards ⭐ Manage incorporations and ensure statutory filings are completed accurately and on time ⭐ Oversee onboarding and due diligence processes ⭐ Deliver bespoke governance and company secretarial projects Additional responsibilities at Manager level: ⭐ Oversee team workflow and resource allocation to meet SLAs ⭐ Act as authorised “B” signatory ⭐ Lead performance appraisals and support recruitment activity ⭐ Review timesheets and monitor team utilisation ⭐ Contribute to business development and attend external networking events ⭐ Drive internal process improvements and best practice initiatives What you’ll need ⭐ 5+ years’ (Assistant Manager) or 6+ years’ (Manager) experience in company secretarial, fund or trust administration ⭐ Strong knowledge of corporate governance and statutory requirements ⭐ Proven experience drafting and reviewing board minutes ⭐ Working knowledge of onboarding and due diligence requirements ⭐ Experience supervising or managing junior staff (essential at Manager level) ⭐ Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CGI/ICSA, STEP or equivalent) – completed or in progress Why join? ⭐ Portfolio-owning role with strong client exposure ⭐ Opportunity to influence governance best practice ⭐ Involvement in strategic projects and business growth ⭐ Exposure to a wide range of regulated and unregulated structures
