You will be responsible for providing safe and compassionate transport for non-emergency patients, ensuring they arrive on time for appointments while maintaining their dignity and confidentiality. Key duties include managing bookings, organising daily schedules, using equipment safely, undertaking risk assessments, and supporting colleagues as needed. You will also communicate professionally with patients, relatives, healthcare professionals, and the public.
The ideal candidate will hold or be willing to obtain First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) qualifications, a full driving licence, and have a genuine commitment to caring for others. You should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, IT literacy, and experience producing accurate records. Flexibility to cover core service hours, occasional weekends, or public holidays is required.
