Senior Administrator – Custodian Trustee, Guernsey

Our client is an established financial services organisation with a strong presence in the funds sector. They are seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Custodian Trustee team, supporting oversight, monitoring and governance activities for Guernsey regulated funds. Role This position focuses on oversight monitoring and governance functions while also supporting administration responsibilities, including the review and reconciliation of valuations for Guernsey regulated funds serviced by the Custodian Trustee team. Key responsibilities • Maintain the breach register and monitor related activity • Monitor the status of Custodian Trustee checks during annual account reporting periods • Review annual accounts and Scheme Particulars • Support open and closed fund reporting requirements • Prepare and submit GFSC notifications where required • Monitor the regulatory activities of each fund • Assist with the investigation and review of actual and potential breaches and pricing errors • Support preparation for regulatory on-site visits • Provide support to colleagues to ensure the team operates effectively • Assist senior colleagues with audit processes where required Person specification • Some experience within the Guernsey funds sector, particularly open-ended CIS and the Guernsey regulatory environment • Experience working with banking systems • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively • Interest in developing regulatory knowledge and progressing within the role • Willingness to undertake internal and external training as required • System knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word, IDS and Bloomberg What’s in it for you? • Opportunity to develop within an established funds and custody environment • Exposure to regulatory oversight and governance functions • Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional development How to apply / more information
