An established organisation is looking to recruit a Trainee Service Desk Administrator to join its IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their IT career who is keen to gain hands-on experience in a technical support environment. Key responsibilities: ⭐ Provide first-line support for day-to-day IT queries from staff ⭐ Record and manage support requests to ensure timely resolution ⭐ Assist with resolving basic hardware, software and access issues ⭐ Help set up and maintain computers, devices and user accounts ⭐ Keep IT equipment records and documentation up to date ⭐ Support the wider IT team with system updates and small projects What you’ll need: ⭐ A strong interest in IT and developing a career in technical support ⭐ GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics, and a Level 3 IT qualification ⭐ Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications ⭐ Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail ⭐ Strong communication and organisational skills ⭐ A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Why join? ⭐ Great opportunity to begin a career in IT support ⭐ Training and mentoring from an experienced technical team ⭐ Supportive working environment with opportunities to develop new skills
