We are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Business Development & Marketing Manager or Director to drive revenue growth, market positioning and brand visibility. This dual role will oversee business development initiatives, manage end-to-end marketing strategy and build strong internal and external partnerships to support the organisation's long-term objectives.
This role will be based in our Jersey office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the annual business development and go‑to‑market strategy, including sales planning, travel activity, and a robust sales process that maximises lead conversion.
- Lead all new business activity, including ownership of the Pitch Portal, preparation of proposals, engagement letters, presentations, and oversight of the full onboarding journey for prospective clients and intermediaries.
- Maintain and grow intermediary relationships, providing ongoing support, monitoring engagement, and reporting activity and progress through Dynamics.
- Lead Trident Jersey’s marketing agenda, creating and executing an annual marketing calendar, driving thought leadership content, liaising with Group Marketing, and ensuring all marketing materials and factsheets are accurate and current
Skills & Experience
- Table 4 Qualification.
- At least 10 years of experience within a Trust company business, preferably international
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or a combined commercial leadership role
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and analytics platforms
