Associate Relationship Manager

As an Associate Relationship Manager (ARM), you'll work alongside Relationship Directors to deliver tailored financial solutions, build deep client insights, and help shape our seamless, full-service offering for corporate clients. You'll join a dynamic team that values collaboration, initiative, and the ambition to influence the financial trajectory of UK businesses. What you'll be doing Support 1–2 Relationship Directors in a fast-moving corporate mid-market portfolio (turnover roughly £10m–£250m) to grow client relationships and opportunities Conduct in-depth client and sector research, analyse business models and financials, and prepare clear recommendations Assist in preparing client presentations, credit papers, and risk assessments; ensure accuracy and governance alignment Monitor portfolios, track performance, flag risks, and maintain robust documentation Collaborate with product specialists and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions across lending, treasury, cash management, risk, and advisory Continuously seek process improvements and apply feedback to enhance client materials and research quality What we're looking for Several years' experience in corporate/commercial banking or a client-focused service role; mindset and energy valued as much as direct experience Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related; professional qualifications (ACA, CFA, etc.) advantageous Strong numeracy, analytical skills, and excellent communication; high integrity and organizational ability Demonstrated regulatory awareness and commitment to ongoing professional development Curious, adaptable, and excited by using AI, GPT, and CRM tools to enhance client service A genuine commitment to Investec's culture, client focus, collaboration, and the principles of Consumer Duty
