Head of UK Careers The Head of Careers will support the full end to end delivery of recruitment for Investec Plc. They will use data to help drive recruitment strategies, innovation and processes from early careers to Exec level hires, with a focus on driving the right strategy for the market with the right operating model. This includes evolving the direct hiring model, delivering on diversity commitments and providing seamless and frictionless user (hiring manager / recruiter / interviewer / candidate) experience. As a player coach you will: Be responsible for the strategy and operational delivery of recruitment across Investec Lead, develop and coach the recruitment team across the UK, with oversight of the South Africa Careers Coordination team and the India Careers team. 3rd party management including managing the delivery of an onsite RPO solution and building partnerships with strategic recruitment partners and recruitment agencies Responsible for the execution of Investec's EVP, in proactively attracting and recruiting talent You will be expected to hold a small portfolio of roles and will be responsible for managing end to end recruitment Facilitate internal mobility with a focus on career conversations and providing guidance to redeployed employees as required Provide business intelligence and external and internal recruitment insights Evaluate and drive multiple channels of recruitment through pro-active engagements, headhunting and leveraging referrals Partner with the P&O Leads and Consultants, Global Mobility, People Operations and Reward to ensure a seamless and timely recruitment and on-boarding process Developing and enabling leadership capability throughout the recruitment process Ensure we are driving cost efficiencies Supporting Investec's Belonging Inclusion and Diversity commitments Managing and maintaining the risks and controls framework within the recruitment function What are we looking for? Experience creating recruitment strategies within a complex/matrix environment Team management and leadership, preferably across multiple remote geographies Providing innovative solutions around candidate experience and AI that drive recruitment in line with Investec's culture Understanding of the tools and channels to source talent across the UK Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and be seen as a thought leader, advising on recruitment strategy and best practice Utilising ATS reporting to inform and evolve the recruitment strategy Strong interpersonal skills and able to hold a point of view, debate and challenge Excellent verbal and written communication skills
