Senior Recruitment Officer (Temporary – Part-Time), Guernsey

Contract: 3-Month Initial Contract Hours: Part-Time (Approx. 15 hours per week / 3 hours daily) Are you an experienced Recruitment or HR professional looking for a flexible, high-impact project? We are seeking a Senior Recruitment Officer to join a leading local firm's People & Culture team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the "nuts and bolts" of finding and onboarding top-tier talent. The Role You will take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, providing vital support to hiring managers and ensuring a premium experience for every candidate. Key Responsibilities: • Strategic Sourcing: Uploading vacancies, managing the ATS, and advising managers on the best recruitment routes. • Full-Cycle Management: Screening applications, shortlisting, coordinating interviews, and providing constructive feedback. • Onboarding & Compliance: Preparing offer letters and contracts, and ensuring all pre-employment checks and work permit applications (Population Management) are completed accurately. • Agency Relations: Acting as the key point of contact for external recruitment partners. About You You should be a "plug-and-play" professional who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Essential Criteria: • Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 or higher (or equivalent professional experience). • Expertise: Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within a professional services environment. • Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of Guernsey employment law and the Population Management Law (Work Permits/Housing Licenses). • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR/Recruitment systems.
