About the job

We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to support revenue growth, strengthen intermediary relationships, and enhance our Jersey office’s market presence. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering an annual business development plan (aligned with the office Managing Director), managing day-to-day new business and client onboarding activity through to handover to Client Services, and ensuring accurate pipeline reporting and management information.

Responsibilities:-

  • Lead business development strategy and execution, owning the annual plan and go‑to‑market calendar aligned with stakeholder priorities, risk appetite and client acceptance standards.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end sales and onboarding pipeline, ensuring consistent processes, timely progression, effective handovers and a strong client and intermediary experience.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with intermediaries, clients and internal stakeholders, generating new opportunities and collaborating across Group offices on referrals and messaging.
  • Oversee proposals, pitches and sales materials, coordinating content, submissions and approvals, and supporting external presentations and new business meetings.
  • Ensure effective pipeline governance and reporting, maintaining accurate CRM data (Dynamics 365), coordinating CDD and onboarding activity with Compliance and Legal, and producing management information on risks, bottlenecks and actions.
  • Contribute towards the marketing strategy, help coordinating annual activity, thought‑leadership and compliant materials, supporting Group referrals and providing clear reporting on marketing performance and conversion
