Wednesday

Weather

Light rain and drizzle in the morning, perhaps turning misty and foggy for a brief spell towards lunchtime. Becoming dry and relatively bright through the afternoon, but still on the cloudy side compared to Tuesday. The wind a fresh S’ly during the morning, veering SW’ly around lunchtime and becoming light or moderate by evening. Max temp 11°C.

Surf and Tide

The surf will be gorgeously clean in the morning, but the wave heights only 1-3 feet. We might get treated to the odd 4-footer is the afternoon, but the wind will have made things a little messier by then. Tides very small indeed with lows around dawn and dusk and the high at lunchtime.

Thursday

Weather

The wettest day of the week by a long shot, with barely a dry moment between dawn and dusk. Much of the rain will be heavy, so puddles will be large and I expect the roads will be busy and slow-moving. Winds will be moderate to fresh NE’ly, gradually veering NW’ly and perhaps briefly strong.

Surf and Tide

With these winds, there could be some lovely clean surf on the south coast (Petit Port and Petit Bot) but it's always very fickle down there so I wouldn't set your hopes too high, and the 7m high tide at 2:40pm will rule out the majority of the afternoon.

Friday

Weather

Much like Monday and Tuesday, Friday will be a story of long sunny spells and brief showers. Those showers most likely in the morning and the sunshine most prevalent in the afternoon. Bright as it may be, the temperature will only peak at 9°C and the fresh NW’ly will certainly add a bit if wind-chill.

Surf and Tide

Once again the south coast is going to be the only place that isn't choppy mess. The tide will be 7.5m high at 4:10pm, so the late morning and lunchtime will be the best time to check

The Weekend

Still looking dry and sunny on Saturday and at least a couple of degrees milder too. Unfortunately turning showery and windy again on Sunday though.

Next Week

Another rollercoaster of a week, with fresh to strong winds and showers or longer spells of rain nearly every day. Much like the week we have just had, there will be some fine and pleasant moments, but lasting much longer than half a day.
