Wednesday
Weather.
Some of Tuesday's cloud will linger into the morning, but this will soon break and clear and the rest of the day should be sunny. Winds will be very light and variable in direction, allowing the island to heat up nicely, resulting in a likely top temperature of 17-18°C in most places, maybe even more in Town.
Surf and Tide
Super-clean surf and massive tides again. Just 1-2 feet for the waves, so it's going be one for big boards and little people. As for the tides, both highs will be about 9.8m, firstly at 7:40am and secondly at 8pm.
Thursday
Weather
Just like Wednesday but on this occasion it should be sunny from the word go. The end result… most places could even be a degree warmer. Don't forget to watch out for sunburn. The UV index is equivalent to that of August, at the high end of 5 (bordering on 6). Great for stimulating your vitamin D production, but not at the expense of your skin please. So dig out that sun cream and slap plenty of it on.
Surf and Tides
Another day of clean 1-2 foot waves. Bigger tides again, with highs of about 10m at 8:20am and 8:40pm.
Friday
Weather
Just like Thursday in terms of temperature and sunshine. The only slight difference being a slightly stronger wind. Nothing too serious though, just a force 3-4 E’ly.
Surf and Tide
Probabley 1-2 feet and clean again. This time the tides will be 10m high at 9am at 0.2m low at 3:30pm.
The Weekend
A couple of cloudy and occasionally showery days. Likely a few degrees cooler to, as winds gradually return to a W’ly direction. Generally light or moderate in strength. But bringing the influence of the cool sea rather than the warm continent. A bit of mist and hill-fog is not out of the question at times.
Next Week
Likely dry and mostly sunny Monday to Wednesday, with the wind returning to an E’ly direction. The second half of the week will have a warm S’ly airflow but skies will probably be cloudy and occasionally showery (good quality surf though).
My next forecast update should be with you on Good Friday. Until then, have fun and stay safe. GWF
