Saturday
Weather
Sunny and very warm again. Temperatures peaking In the low twenties again, with just the lightest of breezes. A slim chance of some cloud developing in the late afternoon, possibly yielding a brief light shower in the evening.
Surf and Tides
If we are lucky then some tiny but shapely 1-2 foot waves could be up for grabs in the late afternoon and evening. High water around 9.7m at 9:40am, followed by low water around 0.8m at 4:10pm.
Easter Sunday
Weather
Becoming much cloudier in the afternoon, with this cloud possibly being low enough to turn things misty and perhaps even foggy in places. This will inhibit the temperatures, by a few degrees compared to the previous day. During the evening and oernight, some more definite showers will develop, probably lasting into Monday morning and yielding a welcome 2-4mm of rain. Look out towards Cherbourg and you might even see some flashes of lightning.
Surf and Tides
Once again, it’s going to be small and clean if it’s not totally flat. If there’s going to be anything a bit more juicy then the evening time offers the best hope of that. High water around 9.1m at 10:20am, followed by low water around 1.6m at 4:40pm.
Bank Holiday Monday
Weather
A cloudy and showery morning, clearing to a sunny afternoon, but feeling distinctly cool with temperatures only peaking at about 12°C and quite a nasty wind-chill from the force 6 ENE’ly
Surf and Tides
2-3 foot waves with a difficult cross-shore wind. High water around 8.2m at 11am, followed by low water around 2.3m at 5:20pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday
This is the transitional period, from the relative coolness of the Bank Holiday Monday, back towards e warmth tat we experienced in the previous week. Tuesday will be firmly on the cool side, albeit sunny, as a strong F6 ENE’ly wind will bring air from Scandinavian origin. Wednesday however, will see a change to a moderate ESE’ly, bringing air from Southern Europe and taking our max temps from the very low-teens up to the mid-teens.
The rest of Next Week
With the wind continuing to ease and to come from the ESE, temperatures will climb to the high-teens. There’s a chance that we could cross the magic 20°C threshold again, but with a pretty even mix of cloud and sunshine, as well as a risk of the odd late-afternoon shower, it probably won’t be quite as exceptionally toasty as it was in the first week of the Easter hols.
The next forecast update should be with you on Easter Monday.
