FRIDAY

WEATHER Maybe just a teeny bit of brightness in the morning, whilst the cloud is thin and high. However, it will soon be thick enough to give patchy light rain (probably by late morning), this is becoming more persistent and heavy by mid afternoon and then through the rest of the day. Temperatures will peek at a pretty poor 12C, but the wind will only Force 2–3, so it won't feel especially chilly; that breeze being S’ly through the morning and E’ly through the afternoon.

SURF AND TIDES Waves super clean 2-3 feet. Best around breakfast time. Tides; high water will be 8m at 11m, low at 5:10pm.

SATURDAY

WEATHER An improving day, as cloud and showers soon stand aside, to let sunshine dominate. Moderate to fresh NW’ly winds will add a bit of a chill factor though. Town will be on the sheltered side of the island, so temperatures should peak at a comfortable 14C there. Other pleasant places to head to, include Fermain, Petit Bot, Saints Bay and Moulin Huet.

SURF AND TIDES Not a great surf day I'm afraid, but lovely for a swim at any of the beaches mentioned above. High water will be 7.5m at midday.

SUNDAY

WEATHER Sunshine all the way. Furthermore, the wind should back to a gentle force 3 E’ly, so most areas should be a couple of degrees warmer than Saturday, thanks to the continental influence. Head to the west coast to feel warmest on this day, but don't forget your suncream (UV index 7).

SURF AND TIDES Waves 1 foot and super clean. Tides; high water will be 7.1m at 1:10pm, lows soon after dawn and shortly before dusk.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY Dry and sunny both days, with a high UV index and max temps of 15C, if the E’ly wind doesn't get too strong. Current expectations are force 4. Great surf days, if you are a very small person or you have a very big board… one foot and clean on Monday, two feet and clean on Tuesday.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY Very little change from the previous days, but possibly peaking at 16C, as the days lengthen and the elevation of the sun increases.
