Monday

Weather

Any early mist and clouds will be quick to clear, leaving another gorgeous summers day. Temperatures should be comfortably into the twenties, with an afternoon max of 22-23C. Winds will be easterly in the morning and northeasterly in the afternoon. They will only ever be a light force 2-3 though, so everywhere will feel lovely. The cream of the crop would have to be the west coast in the morning, for the high tide swims, and then the south coast in the afternoon for the low tide sand.

Surf and Tide

Medium sized tides that are high at 11:40am and low at 6pm. There could be about a foot of surf for kids and long-boarders. Fingers crossed for that, we certainly deserve it.

Tuesday and Wednesday

Weather

A couple of absolute beauties. Temperatures will rise to 23 on Wednesday, with similar breezes to Monday, and just as much sunshine. Then on Wednesday, the breeze will back to a very light SE’ly, taking us all the way to 24 degrees or possibly higher. Everywhere should be amazing on Wednesday, but I think the north and west coasts will be just that little bit better.

Surf and Tide

Again, some tiny but clean surf could be on offer, either side of the tidal highs. On Tuesday, the high will be 8m at 12:30pm, and on Wednesday it will be 7.7m at 1:30pm.

Thursday and Friday

It's still uncertain whether we shall see any showers on Thursday or not. We will certainly see an increase in wind (NW’ly) and cloud though (possibly some mist and fog too), which will knock at least 3 degrees off the max temperature, relative to Wednesday. Friday then looks dry and sunny, but with that NW’ly breeze getting right up to a 5, we shall probably only peak at 19C.

The Weekend

Probably cooking up again. It's certainly looking dry and sunny. The wind detail will dictate the temperatures. The current expectation is for a moderate NE’ly on Saturday (possibly with some slightly bigger surf than if late), then a light E’ly on Sunday, and that could give us temperatures to rival Wednesday’s.
