Saturday
Weather
An improving day, with the morning bearing some resemblance to Friday afternoon. In other words, the mist and drizzle should be long gone, but for some of the time, the sunshine will be obscured by the odd blob of low cloud. However, the afternoon should be straightforward sunny and the moderate NE’ly wind should gradually get lighter. Most places will max out at 20-21C, but the sheltered south coast should easily get up to 22C.
Surf and Tide
High water 8.6m at 7:40am, Low water 1.7m at 2pm, exposing lots of sand on those gorgeous south coast beaches. As for the surf, the cross shore wind will compromise the 2-foot west coast waves rather frustratingly. However the breakfast time session should certainly be worth a bash, and there might even be a rideable wave down at Petit Port (where the big fish go).
Sunday
Weather
At least as warm as on Saturday, maybe just a degree higher. The air will be from slightly cooler origins, but the northerly breeze will only be light force 2 to 3 and the sunshine will be pretty much wall-to-wall. Once again head to the south coast for the absolute best of it. However, everywhere else will not be far behind.
Surf and Tide
High water 8.8m at 8:10am, Low water 1.6m at 2:30pm (Great for walking to Lihou). As for the surf, the 1-foot west coast waves will be semi-clean so still good for kids, with the best session probably being mid-late morning at Vazon.
Monday
Weather
Nothing too drastic, but a bit of a low point in the week, with cloudy skies for most of the day. Occasionally this cloud will be low enough to be a bit misty and perhaps drizzly, but I doubt that we will see any disruptive fog. Winds will only be NW’ly force 2, so everywhere should feel comfortable at about 18-19C, although Town should reach 19-20C
Surf and Tide
Surf almost identical to Sunday. High water 8.8m at 8:40am, Low water 1.6m at 3pm.
Tuesday
Weather
A day of two halves, starting off like murky Monday and then finishing like sunny Sunday. Winds will return to a NE’ly direction, and then become rather frisky overnight into Wednesday, maybe even reaching fresh force 5 or strong force 6.
Surf and Tide
2-foot waves on the west coast, but rather comprimised by that cross-shore wind again. Tides will be 8.7m at 9:10am and 1.8m low at 3.30pm.
The Rest of Next Week
Most likely supper-sunny all the way to the weekend, but with a bit of a nagging easterly (as they like to say on the telly). I doubt we will see any decent waves. However, it could be pretty dreamy for kite-surfers. Temperatures probably rising about half a degree per day, peaking at about 22C by the weekend.
The Next Forecast up date should be with you on Sunday night.
