### MONDAY
WEATHER
A bit cloudy at times through this morning, but sunny as ever this afternoon. The air will be rather cool though, so we will be a degree cooler than on Sunday, and the stiffer NNE’ly breeze will add a further chill factor. For the best shelter from that wind, head to the south-coast cliff-paths and beaches.
SURF AND TIDES
No real surf to speak of on this occasion, except for a slim chance of a clean 2 feet at dusk. High water; 9.1m at 9:20am. Low water; 1.3m at 3:40pm.
TUESDAY
WEATHER
After a frosty start, we are in for a straight forward sunny day, with almost no wind. This means that temperatures should return to a healthy 11-12C, like on Sunday. All areas should feel equally comfortable.
SURF AND TIDES
Much cleaner surf , but only 1-2 feet at best. The best opportunities will be at Vazon at dawn and perhaps at midday. High water; 8.3m at 9:50am. Low water; 2.1m at 4:20pm.
WEDNESDAY
WEATHER
Cloudier than the previous days, due to the arrival of some milder and marginally moister air. There will still be some good sunny spells though and temperatures should peak at 11-12C again, with minimal windchill. What wind there is will be force 2-3 NE’ly, meaning that the south coast will be the warmest once again.
SURF AND TIDES
Surf possibly half a foot bigger than on Tuesday and definitely better in the morning than in the afternoon. High water; 7.5m at 10:30am. Low water; 2.9m at 4:50pm.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
Both days almost identical to Wednesday, in terms of the cloud to sunshine ratio. However, temperatures should be steadily on the rise, as the wind gradually veers to a more E’ly direction. By Friday, we should be peaking in the low teens, and the west coast beaches should be blessed by small tides and lovely clean 2-foot surf.
THE WEEKEND
Cooling off a little, as winds back to a NE’ly direction. Otherwise virtually no change in the dry, settled and partly sunny conditions.
The next forecast update will hopefully be on Wednesday evening.
