Monday
Weather
A low pressure system over Central France, will move northeast towards holland, bringing us a northeasterly airstream that is peppered with showers. Not too unlike Sunday, but with a greater density of showers we are far more likely to get hit by a few of them. The greatest risk of this will be in the first half of the morning, so maybe a jacket will be required when you get on your bike and set off to work or school. Hopefully however, the return trip should be more reliably dry. The top temperature will be low again, just like Sunday, only 13-14 degrees.
Surf and Tide
High water will be just 7.3m at 11:50am, but there will be no real surf to speak of I'm afraid, due to the cross your wind and the swell only being about a foot high.
Tuesday
Weather
Just a slim risk if a shower around dawn, but certainly looking dry for the rest if the day. Sunny too! Leading to a top temp of 15 degrees all being well. Winds will only be a force 2 E’ly. Barely noticeable, so it should feel really pleasant in all places.
Surf and Tide
High water will be lovely and small, just 7m at 1:10pm. Pretty much flat in the surf again though.
Wednesday
Weather
A slightly stronger E’ly breeze than on Tuesday, with more cloud and perhaps some drizzly rain at times. Therefore, even though the temperature should be about the same, it certainly won't feel as nice.
Surf and Tide
Aha, this is more like it. Lovely clean 2-3 foot waves pretty much all day long. Low water will be 3.7m at 8:40am. High water will be 7.2m at 2:50pm.
Thursday and Friday
Thursday will get off to a wet start but the patchy rain should be gone by lunchtime. Winds will be moderate W'ly, so the east coast should be the most comfortable area, especially Town, which should get up to 16c. Then on Friday, when the breeze switches to a S’ly direction, it should really start to feel a bit warmer. Maybe even 17C, which is really rather balmy for late October.
The Weekend
Warm and sunny, with gentle S’ly breezes on Saturday and SE’ly on Sunday. It's rally looking like a great weekend to kick off the half term holla, especially if you're still into going in the se; super-clean 4-6 foot surf on the west coast, and some smaller waves for younger kids on the north.
The next forecast update should be with you on Tuesday evening.
