Monday
Weather
A cloudy morning followed b y a sunny afternoon, but all of it feeling lovely and warm, due to the very light (almost calm) ENE'ly breeze, bringing a continental airflow. Max temps should be about 21 or maybe even 22°C. Then, during the night time, the temperature probably won't fall any lower than 14 or 15°C.
Surf and the Water
Gorgeous glassy swimming conditions in all areas, and some weak but super-clean 2 foot surf on the west coast. Tides will be high at 9am and 7:15pm (8.5m and 8.8m respectively). Low tide will be at 3:15pm.
Tuesday and Wednesday
Weather
Two lovely sunny days, with temperatures likely peaking at 22°C and 23°C respectively. Tuesday's warmth will be very slightly compromised by a force 3 NNE'Ix breeze, but Wednesday's light force 2 NOWix should be barely be noticeable. The south of the Island will always be warmest, albeit only by a whisker.
Surf and the Water
The surf will be 2 feet and a little choppy on Tuesday, then nice and glassy on Wednesday. Swimming conditions will be best on the south coast on Tuesday, but lovely on all coasts through Wednesday. Tides will be high in the late mornings and low in the late afternoons.
Thursday and Friday
Weather
Both days a bit cooler than the previous few... Thursday due to cloudy skies and a light force 3 NWIx breeze, Friday due to a moderate force 4 N'ly breeze albeit lovely and sunny again. Most areas will have a max temp of 19°C on both days, but 20°C will be possible in Town and along the south coast.
Surf and the Water
The surf will pick up to 3 feet or possibly even 4 feet on Friday, but it will be rather choppy. The south coast will continue to host the smoothest swimming conditions, although, the east coast will also be lovely on Thursday. High tides will shuffle forward from roughly 11am on Thursday to midday on Friday (8.3m and 8m respectively). Lows will be in the early morning and around dinner time.
The Weekend
Weather
Just like Friday, the skies will be beautifully sunny (max UV index of 8 so be very careful not to sunburn). The moderate force 4 Nix wind will persist though, brining cooler air to the Channel and preventing temperatures from exceeding 18°C on either day. The sheltered south coast will be the place to find head if you want to feel warmest.
Surf and the Water
The surf will remain rather choppy but it should be big enough to ride and have fun with. The south coast will continue to host the smoothest swimming conditions, although, the east coast will also be lovely on Thursday. High tides will be in the early afternoons (7.8m and 7.6m respectively). Low tides will be at breakfast time and in the evenings.
Wifi-permitting (I'm on holiday at the moment), the next forecast update should be on Wednesday or Thursday.
